Michelle focuses on financial (supervisory) law and ESG legislation. Additionally, she has a background in bankruptcy and corporate law which allows her to look at issues from a broader perspective as well. She is appreciated by clients by her hands-on approach and practical solutions. She helps clients navigate through the many European and Dutch financial laws and regulations, regulatory policies, and market standards. 

Before joining Finway, Michelle worked at PwC at the legal department where she dealt with issues related to financial law and ESG legislation (such as the SFDR, EU taxonomy and the CSRD). Before that, she worked as a lawyer and trustee in the field of corporate and bankruptcy law at Okkerse & Schop Lawyers.
